EKG

EKG

Electrocardiography produces electrocardiograms. It is a graph of the electrical activity of the heart. An EKG uses electrodes to get the result. When the heart beats, electrical waves travel through the heart with each beat. These waves cause the muscles to pump blood from the heart.

An EKG measures the time interval of each wave. This helps a doctor to determine if the electrical activity of the heart is normal or irregular. Through the EKG report, our doctors also get information about the size of parts of the heart.

The entire process is extremely simple and does not involve any pain or unpleasant experience. Furthermore, the procedure also does not involve any risk. A monitor displays the result on the screen, which is then printed on the sheet as well.
